5th grade boys and girls are invited to come to soccer practices on Thursday. If your child is interested, but is not able to come to this practice, please contact the coach and let them know.

Soccer is ready to go at Washburn District Elementary! Michael Langley and Erica Whitaker will be the coaches for the middle school and practices will begin on Wednesday, August 6 from 2:30 - 4:00. There will be a parent meeting Friday on the field at 4:00. If there is room, fifth graders will be notified Thursday.

Don't forget - our last Bike Bus is Friday and we are ALL meeting at Dollar General at 7:15 to follow the fire truck to school.
Thursday is the last day of school for 8th graders. They will have their promotion at 6:30pm tonight. Those that are in softball and baseball are welcome to come to the 9:00am assembly Friday with their families to receive their sports awards.
All are welcome to attend our 8th Grade Promotional on Thursday at 6:30pm.
Notice: Fun Day at WDES will be moved to Wednesday, June 11 due to the predicted weather.

Get ready for our final Bike Bus of the school year! Our friends from the Washburn Fire Department will be joining us!
WDES Fun Day is Tuesday, June 10. Please send your child to school dressed and ready for being outside most of the day. The PTO will be providing some new bounce houses this year - we are very excited for that!
