The ASP field trip will return from Easton at 4:45 Wednesday. Buses will head out at that time to take students home per usual.
Mr. Ron Ericson will be recognized for his years of service to our school system before the 7 PM Boys’ Basketball game with Easton this Friday February 2nd . Mr. Ericson served for 48 years in MSAD 45 as Teacher, Coach, Assistant Principal, Principal and Athletic Director. Ron’s teams amassed over 300 victories in soccer and basketball. The Girls’ Basketball teams that he coached, won 4 State Championships and made 6 Regional Final appearances. Washburn District High School has won 13 State Championships with Ron coaching or as the Athletic Director for the school. He is a member of the Legends Sports Hall of Fame, Chairman of the Classes B, C and D Maine Principals Association Basketball Committee and Secretary for the Aroostook League. Please join us this Friday, February 2nd at 7 PM for the Easton vs. Washburn Boys Basketball
game, as we recognize Ron Ericson for his 48 years of service to MSAD 45.

Beginning Monday, January 22 7th graders will be starting their day at the high school and 8th graders will coming to the elementary school.
Come out tonight and support the Varsity Girls Basketball team as they host the Van Buren Crusaders at 5:00.
Due to the forecast all MSAD 45 after school activities for tonight have been cancelled. The Varsity Girls basketball game vs Van Buren will be made up tomorrow Wednesday, January 17th at 5:00.
ASP and all Washburn Rec. after school activities will be cancelled for 1/16/24 at Washburn Elementary School.
The Varsity Girls Basketball Team is on the road today and will face the Warriors of Southern Aroostook.
There has been a change to the All-Aroostook Band Festival. Saturday's activities will be moved to Monday. Have students at the Elementary School at 8:00am on Monday. Concert on Monday at 2:00pm at the Ashland Community School.
There will be no school Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
