Just a reminder, High School Fall sports awards are tonight. Awards will be run in two segments with Girls Soccer from 6:30 - 7:00 and Boys Soccer from 7:00 - 7:30.
The holidays are around the corner and there is nothing like the look and smell of a fresh evergreen wreath. The Sophomore class is currently selling wreaths as a fundraiser for their class. The cost is $20 per wreath. If you are interested, please see any member of the class of 2024 or email Kolbie Churchill at kchurchill@msad45.net. The class is taking orders from now until Wednesday, November 17th.
A couple of weeks ago the nurse's office sent out a survey inquiring about interest in a vaccine clinic for students ages 5-11. Thank you to those who responded. We will be hosting a clinic next week. Congratulations to our Varsity Boys' Soccer team on being selected as this year's Class D Boys North, MPA Sportsmanship Award recipient. The team received recognition and sportsmanship banner during half time of tonight's Class D Boys State Title Game. Basketball fans, the Middle School basketball season is upon us! Their first game will be Tuesday, November 2. Our teams will be hosting Union 122, the Woodland Woodchucks, in the High School gym. Girls will play at 3:30pm with the boys following at 5:00pm. We are allowing fans. Masks are required to attend.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are quickly approaching. An email has been sent out with a letter from each building principal. Conferences will be November 22, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and November 23, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. As we have done in the past, conferences sign up is a first come first serve basis. All sign up will be done online. If you are unable to sign up online, please contact Mrs. Drost at the Elementary School or Mrs. Hobbs at the High School. They will be happy to assist you. Dear Parent/Guardians of Kindergarten thru 6th Grade Parents:
The FDA and CDC have been working diligently to approve a covid-19 vaccine for children ages 5 thru 11. In the meantime, while we wait for approval, I'm looking for feedback from you if you would be interested in a vaccine clinic. The clinic would be administered by staff from A.R. Gould Northern Light Health and conducted right here at school.

For those traveling to Bangor for the boys’ game, they will be playing at Bangor High’s Cameron Stadium. Directions to Cameron Stadium: Take Exit 187 Hogan Road off I-95. From the south, bear right. From the north, go left onto Hogan Road. At 3rd set of lights, turn right onto Mt. Hope Avenue. Travel approximately 1 mile and take left onto Howard Street.
