Parker Corey, President of the Washburn FFA, has been selected to attend this year's Washington Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. later this summer.  The Washington Leadership Conference "inspires FFA members to become changemakers in their communities."  Each day of the conference focuses on pillars or principles of leadership taught through the context of our nation's Capitol.  These leadership pillars include Explore, Encourage, Advocate, and Serve.

Parker's ability to serve his FFA chapter, school, and community makes him the right choice to attend this experience.  While in our Nation's Capital, Parker will visit Arlington National Cemetry, participate in tours on Capitol Hill and Congressional visits, as well as visit many National Monuments.
