During the summer program this past year, Mrs. Bragg's students participated in the Count ME in Maine poster contest. Count ME in Maine promotes the importance of good school attendance through schools in our state.
While participating in the After School Program Wednesday afternoon, Clavin, a second-grade student at David J. Lyon Washburn Elementary School, along with the rest of the program attendees had a surprise visitor from a Count ME in Maine representative. She announced Calvin's poster submission had been chosen and presented him with a copy of his winning poster. His poster is titled "Attendance Matters."
