Principal Worcester along with the staff of Washburn District High School are proud to announce Roegen Rosi-Carney as Student of the Month for November. He is a Sophomore at WDHS and the son of Justin Carney and Alisa Rosi-Carney. Roegen is a member of the varsity club and a member of the varsity soccer and basketball teams. He also holds down a part-time job, while consistently being on the honor roll as well. “Roegen always wants to be challenged, and he wants what he is learning to be relevant to his life.” Ms. Jones continues, “He has a great work ethic and is never behind on assignments.” The teachers agree Roegen is a kind and polite young man, eager to learn as well as help others.
