The Washburn 21 Century After School Program(ASP) participates annually in the Festival of Trees sponsored by St. Apollonia Dental Clinic. This year, their theme is Gingerbread Kisses - Holiday Wishes. "Love is the only thing that multiplies when it's divided." ~Ralph Giles
The program uses this as a community service project to teach our students the value and importance of giving, sharing, and serving others. This project couldn't be done without the support of the District, ASP staff, the families of our students, and our local community members.
The Festival of Trees will be held at the Aroostook Center Mall in the old Sears store. Festivities begin Friday, December 3, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, December 4, from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm, and Sunday, December 5, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
