Principal Worcester along with the staff of Washburn District High School are proud to announce Siara Henthorn as Student of the Month for September. She is a Sophomore at WDHS and the granddaughter of Kelly Lunney. Siara is, by nature, a quiet student. However, this year she has taken a leadership role in her class, being elected as the Class Secretary/Treasurer. Ms. Jones says, “Siara always engages and participates in discussions. She’s friendly to her peers and does excellent work in her classes.” Mrs. Hemphill adds, “(Siara) is self-motivated and understands the importance of school. She’s a wonderful student to have in class.” Siara also participates in the Upward Bound program and Early College programs. Congratulations Siara!
