Washburn PTO is holding the Walkway dedication to our former superintendent, Dr.Elizabeth Ervin.  The ceremony will take place on Thursday, Nov 3rd at 10am outside at the Middle School.  We encourage all to attend and wear something pink to show support in her fight against breast cancer.

Next meeting will be Thursday, October 13th @ 6:30 at the Washburn Rec Dept.

  • Friday, October 21st, we will be sponsoring a Spaghetti Supper at the Washburn Snowmobile Clubhouse, from 5-7pm.

This dinner is to help raise money for one of our very own 8th graders, Reed Plummer, who is currently battling Brain Cancer for the second time in his young life.

Minimum donations of $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12.  Dinner will include Spaghetti/sauce, Willie’s rolls, green salad, dessert, and drink

  • Tuesday, November 22nd, we will be holding a Bake Sale during the Parent/Teacher conferences.

  • Thursday & Friday, December 15th & 16th  from 9:00-2:00, The Washburn PTO will be having a Little Shoppers In-School Gift Shop.

 This will be a great way for your little ones to come do their Christmas shopping for their loved ones.  All items will be $5 and under.

Welcome Back!

Classes have started for the 2016-2017 school year, and we know that the first few days can be an adjustment, especially for those moving up from middle to high school, or those joining MSAD #45 for the first time. We encourage all parents and students to make the most of the programs and academics that Washburn has to offer!

Grade 3 Students Up to the Challenge!

WDES Grade 3 students were challenged with specific goals in both math and ELA for the year. The reward for reaching those goals was the chance to duct tape Mrs. Cote and Mrs. Langille to the wall!

Let’s just say the Washburn Beavers are known for meeting challenges!
