Washburn Alumni Continue Their Tradition of Excellence

Carsyn Koch, graduate of Washburn Class of 2014,  capped off an incredible indoor track season by setting a new record at the NCAA DII championships.

Carsyn set the record in the 800m with a time of 2:05.12.

A Sophomore at Cedarville, she easily led the rest of the field, winning by 2.4 seconds.

USCAA also handed out their Academic All American awards, and two of Washburn’s own received them.

Division 2 Academic winners were University of Maine Augusta’s Carmen Bragg and Nick Bragg.

Class of 2015 graduate Kenzie Worcester, now a  Husson Freshman,  has been named to the MWBCA All-Rookie team. The Washburn native averaged 13.8 points per game for the Eagles!!
