Creating a Brochure

 Students will select an ancient people group and make a brochure about them using relevant information from the text book and other resources.

TASK:

Chose one of the following peoples:

Israelites     Egyptians     Assyrians     Persians      Phoenicians
 

BROCHURE:

bullet

The front of the brochure should have a picture which represents the  ancient people the brochure is about.  Your name and class period

          should also appear on the front of the brochure.  

bullet Information in the brochure should include the following:
bullet Religion (gods worshipped, rituals, creation myths, and roles of priests)
bullet

Class structure (i.e., warrior, peasant/farmers, priests, rulers/

           judges) and how those classes interacted
bullet Roles of Men and Women (duties, expectations, value)
bullet Agriculture (primary food crop/source and how they used them)
bullet Demise of their civilization (What ended their kingdom, etc.)
bullet Time frame (i.e. 1000 B.C.E. To 300 B.C.E.)
bullet Pictures should be included.  
bullet One section should be a listing of sources used for the project.
