CDC - Established in 1946 as the "Communicable Disease Center", now known as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the CDC is an agency of the Dept. of Health and Human Services.  Use the A-Z Index to find thousands of links to information on medical topics.

MedlinePlus - Created and maintained by the National Library of Medicine, Medline has extensive information from the National Institutes of Health and other trusted sources on over 650 diseases and conditions.  Find here a medical encyclopedia and a medical dictionary, health information from the media, links to 165 tutorials and thousands of other links.  This is updated daily!  Please note that there is an entire site for teens here!
