how do i access online databases?

From the Library Home Page http://www.msad45.net/Library/libraryindex.htm

Think of a database as a huge warehouse of information collected from books, newspapers, magazines, journals, encyclopedias, other reference books, pamphlets, graphics, media, etc.  The information is collected into one location where it can be searched, retrieved and used for research projects.

Pick up your Pocket Reference Card so that you have the username and password for each site. You can use all of the resources (except Columbus Travel Guide) at home.  If you are having problems with access, let me know right away by e-mailing libbrown@msad45.net.

Since we do pay for these databases, you will be prompted to type in the assigned user name and password.  Do not try to search for the database site on-line as you normally will not be able to access our school log-in page.  Make a habit of clicking from the WDHS library site.
