INTRODUCTION

Pointillism is an interesting art form that has it's roots in Impressionism.  In order to create this form, you will need to know the definition of the form, the time period that it came about, the people associated with the form, and examples of the art that can be viewed today. 

TASK

You will follow the steps assigned and answer the questions by using the internet sources which are provided.

PROCESS

Go to this LINK and print out all of your questions for this assignment.  Each step is explained and web sites are provided for you to use in order to answer each question.

 

STEP 1:  Read about the art movement and answer the questions in Step 1 by using the following links:

ArtCyclopedia Artists by Medium

STEP 2:  This site will show you many student drawings using this method.  Look at the drawings and describe each on your answer sheet by using the following link:

STEP 3:  There are 3 main artists who's work is associated with Pointillism.  Answer the questions listed for all 3 artists.  Explore the works listed and then choose 2 other paintings for each of the artists.  Discuss these other 2 works.
